The U.S. dollar is making a comeback after sinking down to the ¥117 range during the past couple of weeks.
The Japan Times reported:
The dollar was solid around ¥119 in Tokyo trading Monday, bolstered chiefly by strong U.S. jobs data released late last week.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at ¥118.95-119.00, up from ¥117.37-37 at the same time Friday.
This is good news for American tourists to Japan as they will be able to get more yen for every dollar exchanged.
