Islamic State Murders Japanese Journalist Kenji Goto

“It is a further reminder that ISIL is the embodiment of evil, with no regard for human life.” - British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Japan Today reported:
TOKYO —Japan condemned with outrage and horror on Sunday an online video that purported to show an Islamic State group militant beheading Japanese journalist Kenji Goto.
The video posted on militant websites late Saturday Middle East time ended days of negotiations to save Goto, a 47-year-old journalist, and heightened fears for the life of a Jordanian fighter pilot also held hostage.
“I feel indignation over this immoral and heinous act of terrorism,” Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told reporters after convening an emergency Cabinet meeting.

Japan Today Tweeted this question:
Fighting Islamic State by military means is one thing, but how do you fight their ideology?
It has to be done from within. Mainstream Islam needs to purge the radicals from their religion. By not saying or acting to rid terrorists who have made Islam synonymous with evil, they are, in effect, showing the world that they are giving tacit approval or condoning their ideology and acts of terror.

President Obama and his administration refuse to call Islamic terrorism what it is. Obama needs to open his eyes and act as the leader of the free world, instead of running around golf courses with his head up his ass. (See this article from National Review.)
