While going through some photo albums looking for something else, I came across these three gems from 1985.
First, these two from a barbecue of The Purple Gang of the California Republic (our little GOP political faction):
Then, here we have Mark Rosenthal (center), Glenn Thornhill and yours truly with Stan and Ollie at the Way Out West Tent's (L.A.) Sons of the Desert banquet at the Sportsman's Lodge (or was it Sportsmen's Lodge?):
