Scattered Snow Showers?

The National Weather Service is now saying that we have a 30% chance of "scattered snow showers" in the Gallup/Jamestown, New Mexico area today.

Today
Scattered snow showers, mainly after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight
Scattered snow showers, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 8. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

It will be interesting to see if this comes to pass. We can sure use the water!
