Russia Warns of Repeat of Cuban Missile Crisis

In what could develop into a second "Cuban Missile Crisis", Russia has issued a warning against deploying more weapon systems near its borders with Europe.

According to The Sun (U.K.):

RUSSIA has warned the US its build-up of weapons in Europe risks a repeat of the Cuban missile crisis - as a Moscow warship docked near Havana yesterday. 

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Monday that US plans to deploy missile systems near the Russian border risks a nuclear standoff on a par with the height of the Cold War. 

The warning came as one of the Russian navy's most advanced warships entered Havana's harbour on Monday. 

It docked at the port used until this month by US cruise lines - with tourists seen taking photos of the imposing vessel. 

The Admiral Gorshkov - which entered service last year - is armed with cruise missiles, air defence systems and other weapons. 

The frigate is based at the Arctic port of Severomorsk and is part of Russia's Northern Fleet.

Graceland To Be Moved To Japan?

This is not very likely to happen. (But then, weirder things have happened.)

Elvis Presley Enterprises allegedly received offers to dismantle Graceland and move it to Japan, China or the Middle East like the London Bridge that was moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona.

According to The Sun:

ELVIS’S Graceland mansion could be moved to Japan amid a £76million makeover row. 

City chiefs in Memphis, US, object to public cash going on part of the expansion. 

Bosses at the Blue Suede Shoes icon’s estate have threatened to dismantle and relocate it in the Middle or Far East. 

Joel Weinshanker, 48, said: “We had an offer ten days ago to move Graceland to Japan.
“We had two offers to move to the Middle East and one to go to China. 

“They offered us more profit than we could ever make in Memphis.” 

Refit plans include a hangar for Elvis’s planes, a larger visitors’ guesthouse, a club based on his living room and a 6,200-seat indoor arena.

Attack On London Bridge

The Sun reported:

A GANG of five terrorists drove a van into pedestrians at 50mph on London Bridge before attacking revellers with hunting knives.

Up to seven people were feared dead and 20 hurt in the 10pm attack – amid a second ‘attack’ at nearby Borough Market which armed police are responding to. 

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed a third incident in the Vauxhall area after tweeting “you must run, hide and tell.” 

Staff at a packed pub in London Bridge locked the doors as the gang tried to smash their way in. Witnesses saw one man stabbed in the chest five times.

Here we go again. This has the indicators of a coordinated ISIS attack, but it is still too early to know for sure.

If that is the case, this is another warning to the idiotic liberals and their court toadies that we have to secure our borders and allow the lawful travel ban executive order by President Donald Trump to halt the influx of people from countries who may wish to do us harm like this to be put into effect.

This is another argument in favor of an armed citizenry.

William Peter Blatty Dies At 89

The author of The Exorcist, who also received a "Best Screenplay" Oscar based on his novel, has died.

The Sun reported:

THE legendary horror writer who penned The Exorcist has passed away at the age of 89. 

William Peter Blatty’s death was confirmed on social media by the film’s director William Friedkin this afternoon.

"Bad Boys" Obama and Putin Flexing Muscles

The testosterone is flowing within the leaders of Russia and the United States as Obama has deployed special forces at the Russian border.

According to The Sun (U.K.):

PRESIDENT Obama has deployed US special forces troops along Lithuania’s border with “aggressive” Russia. 

Tensions between Washington and the Kremlin have reached Cold War levels amid reports Vladimir Putin is deploying nuke-ready missiles in the Russian province of Kaliningrad – which borders Poland, Belarus and Lithuania. 

And Lithuanian Defence Ministry spokeswoman Asta Galdikaite confirmed America has offered additional military support following Russia’s annexation of Crimea. 

She said: “The United States was the first to offer additional safety assurance measures to the Baltic countries following the deterioration of the security situation in the region after the annexation of the Crimea.” 

She added: “US Special Operations Forces presence in Lithuania is one of the deterrents” against military threats by Putin’s aggressive regime, reports the Express.

I don't know who is worse, Obama or Putin. January 20 cannot come soon enough.
