There is more good news on the status of Japan's tourism industry.
The Daily Yomiuri reports:
The number of people visiting Japan in May shot up 87 percent from a year before to 669,000, the Japan National Tourism Organization has said.
The surge reflects a sharp rebound from the fall a year earlier in the wake of the March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami and the crisis at Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant.To read the full article, go here.
