Summer is now here and that means that many people are planning their annual vacation trips.
Some will stay close to home and head to their favorite beach, campground or resort. Others will venture a little further and visit a national park. Still, others will fly to a foreign country.
As Japan tourism industry is still recovering from last year's devastating earthquake, tsunami and radiation problems, visitors can find many bargains there to lure them. Many stores, hotels, ryokans and attractions have slashed prices to entice foreign travelers.
The best way to find bargains is to search for them via the Internet. Even in normal times, many hotels discount their rates when reservations are made online.
Japan Airlines (JAL) recently applied to the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to have their international fuel surcharges cut. No doubt, other carriers will be following suit.
One place for finding bargains is Japan Cheap Travel.com.
