Governor Jerry Brown ways "welcome" to all Mexican immigrants, legal or not, to California. That sounds lovely, but it is totally insane and it puts all Californians (and Americans) in danger.
California is already broke and operating on borrowed money. Illegal immigration is costing the state $25 billion annually. We have a drought, so we can't afford to "water" more people.
Bill O'Reilly nailed Brown a week ago.
As reported by Breitbart.com:
On Wednesday’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” host Bill O’Reilly criticized Gov. Jerry Brown (D-CA) on two grounds -- for his tack toward Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto as a U.S. Marine sergeant is being held in Mexico and for his policies on immigration, which have made California a so-called sanctuary state.
“Very quietly, Gov. Brown has created a sanctuary state in California. That is his state will not cooperate with the Feds by enforcing immigration law. Earlier this week, Mexican President [Enrique Peña] Nieto traveled to California and was greeted by a hero by authorities there even though Nieto could pardon Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, who has been imprisoned in Mexico for six months. But Nieto will not allow Sgt. Tahmooressi freedom even though he has post traumatic disorder. The beef against the sergeant is low-level to say the least.”
On immigration, O’Reilly argued Brown was threatening comprehensive immigration reform by subverting the process and costing taxpayers in his state $25 billion annually.Too bad the federal immigration laws aren't being enforced by the Obama Administration, so, effectively, there's really nothing that Brown is disregarding. But that's no excuse.
“By allowing folks who sneak in here or overstay their visas, legal status to drive, Gov. Brown is subverting federal law, as well as undermining comprehensive immigration reform,” O’Reilly continued. “’Talking Points’ wants, wants a fair new federal immigration law that all states obey. But that's not going to happen as long as people like Jerry Brown disregard current federal policy."
There is no effective southern border security. Obama isn't securing it. What's to stop ISIS terrorists from coming in to California through Mexico to commit acts of terrorism (September 11 is only 8 days away, by the way)? Brown and Obama are both inviting serious trouble.
California may just have its own 9/11 due to these insane politicians. Brown needs to be voted out of office in November. (He probably won't be, as Californians voters are also insane.)
