After about 2 or three years, writer Peter H. Brothers and I got together for lunch today at our usual favorite sushi restaurant, Crazy Tokyo Sushi in Tarzana.
We met up to catch up on the various happenings in our lives. We found that we are now both retired, maybe from clocking in at a job, but not from life. We are both working on more creative endeavors.
Before heading over to the restaurant, I gave Pete a little tour of The Beast.
Pete gave me an autographed copy of his current book, Atomic Dreams and The Nuclear Nightmare: The Making of Godzilla (1954). It is available as an ebook at Amazon's Kindle Store (go here). To get the print edition, go here.
We had an enjoyable time and we will meet up again for lunch next month.
