It has been a while since I last reported on the current exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the Japanese yen in Tokyo trading.
According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, Aug. 8 (Jiji Press)--The dollar was solid around 102 yen in Tokyo trading on Monday, supported by strong U.S. government jobs data released late last week.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 102.28-28 yen, up from 101.07-08 yen at the same time Friday.Unless you're a "high roller", you would be getting a rate somewhere below ¥100/dollar.
