Things are slightly, very slightly, better in Tokyo for the U.S. dollar.
Jiji Press reported:
Tokyo, Aug. 12 (Jiji Press)--The dollar traded on a firmer note above 102 yen in Tokyo trading on Friday, though confined in a narrow range since many currency players were absent from trading for summer holidays.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 102.05-06 yen, up from 101.49-50 yen at the same time Wednesday.
