The number of foreign visitors to Japan set a record in July.
According to The Japan News (Yomiuri Shimbun):
TOKYO (Jiji Press) — The estimated number of visitors to Japan in July jumped 19.7 percent from a year before to an all-time monthly high of 2.297 million, thanks in part to robust travel demand in the summer holiday season, data from a government agency showed Wednesday.
The previous record high was 2.082 million in April this year.To read more, go here.
