According to The Hill.com, Biden said:
“This is deadly earnest, man. This is deadly earnest,” the vice president said. “How they can justify, how they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years — how in Lord's name can they justify raising their taxes with these tax cuts.”For one thing, who has been in charge in the White House for the past four years? What party was in control of Congress for the first two of the last four years? What party is in control of the U.S. Senate and blocked reform efforts by the GOP-led House?
And, for another, how do you raise taxes with tax cuts? Talk about muddled thinking!
At least Biden is right on one point, the middle class has been buried...by their policies.
