Until I had The Monster Movie Fan's Guide To Japan made available at Amazon's Kindle Store, I had not given much thought about ebooks in general.
Ebooks are a convenient way to read a book or, in the case of the travel guide, use while traveling in foreign lands.
The Sacramento Bee posted an article on a report on ebooks:
This report takes an in-depth look at the e-book market, and provides industry figures for 2008 to 2015. It breaks down the new digital value chain, identifies stakeholder strategies through some 20 case studies, details their business models and analyses the core technical issues (formats and portability, DRM, electronic ink, etc.).
The report is entitled, eBooks: Markets & Forecasts 2008-2015 3rd edition, and it can be ordered here. Beware! The report itself costs $4,550.00!
