While we were touring the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on Friday, a body was found at a trail in the general area we were being shuttled at.
GRAND CANYON - Officials with the Grand Canyon National Park announced Monday afternoon that a body has been recovered at the park.
Park officials said that on Friday, November 10th, a body was located below the rim on the Rim Trail, between Pipe Creek and Mather Point.
Park Service identified the man as 39-year-old Michael Legus, of Tooele, Utah.
He was reported missing by a friend on October 31st.
