Last Train To Memphis

If one desires a relaxing setting to pick up a book, the Route 66 RV Resort in Albuquerque, New Mexico is a good place.

After dropping off Jess at the Albuquerque Airport (known as the Albuquerque Sunport), I headed back to the RV park to just relax and read.

Two books arrived in yesterday's mail, both by Peter Guralnick. Both are biographies on Elvis Presley. The one I am reading now is Last Train To Memphis (1994). The other is Careless Love: The Unmaking of Elvis Presley (1988).

Last Train To Memphis is a real page-turner. I started it last night and am nearing 200 pages into it.

The book will come in handy tomorrow for when I bring The Beast in for service (oil change, etc.).
