Jess, Sierra and I left Jamestown about 9:30 this morning. We are now halfway between Jamestown and Roswell, New Mexico in the town of Moriarty (about 160 miles from Jamestown and Roswell).
We are currently at the Happy Trails RV Campground.

The campground is about half full. The sites are a bit on the narrow side and close, but for an overnight stay at $28/night with full hook-ups, I'm not complaining.
It is a bit hot and muggy here as the monsoon clouds are over the area. We may have some thundershowers this evening.

We will leave Moriarty tomorrow morning and will reach Roswell at about noon or so. The owner of the Happy Trails RV Campground said that he would have gone to the UFO Festival in Roswell, but he has to work the RV park.
One of my neighbors is already camping in the Roswell area. We may meet up.
It will be interesting if anyone around the RV park decides to shoot off fireworks tonight. There are huge fireworks businesses in Moriarty. We saw one in a giant tent with a crowd of people inside.
Happy Independence Day!
