Yesterday afternoon, we received our first rain of this year's monsoon season (June through September).
It lasted for about a half hour, but it came down hard during most of it. That relieves me from having to water the trees outside (at least for a few days).
According to the National Weather Service, more is expected to hit Jamestown, New Mexico during the next few days. Even with that, it is warm outside.
