Cleveland.com has a Japan travel article by Donald Rosenberg that may be of interest to those of you contemplating a visit to Japan.
He spent most of his visit in Kyushu, most of which re-traces many of the attractions I visited there in 2007. Included in his travel article are Miyajima Island, Hiroshima, Fukuoka (including Fukuoka Tower and the Fukuoka Yahoo Dome), Mount Aso, Kumamoto and Nagasaki's Peace Park.
Most of these locations are covered in The Monster Movie Fan's Guide To Japan as many of them appeared in Japanese monster movies over the years.
