The first international box office reports are in and Godzilla is stomping the competition.
According to The Hollywood Reporter:
Gareth Edwards' Godzilla stomped into its first handful of international markets on Wednesday, coming in No. 1 everywhere and taking in $1.6 million in France from 596 screens.
The $160 million tentpole, from Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros., toppled the hit French comedy Qu'est-ce que j'ai fait au bon Dieu from the top spot at the box office after staying at No. 1 for four weeks. Godzilla captured 49 percent of the market share.To read more, go here.
