Yesterday, I posted about the Special Weather Statement about the incoming storm that's expected late tonight (officially, Wednesday morning) in the Jamestown, New Mexico area.
I just checked the National Weather Service forecast for the area and we have a 70% chance of snow tomorrow. It doesn't look like we'll get as much as we did on New Year's Day (7 inches). We'll see.
They posted:
Today
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. West wind 5 to 15 mph.
Tonight
A 40 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday
Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 32. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Wednesday Night
A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 5. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
