Winter Weather Advisory Now In Effect

The expected snowstorm that was supposed to arrive overnight in New Mexico has been delayed to about 8:00 this morning.

However, a Winter Weather Advisory has been called.

THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4
  inches.

* WHERE...Lower Rio Grande Valley and West Central Mountains.

* WHEN...Until Noon MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be
  reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle
  in front of you. This includes portions of I-40.
