Classic Rock Music Monday

The stuff that now passes as "music", particularly rock 'n roll, leaves me cold. So, to start off the week, here's a video of a classic rock artist.

Today, it is The Doors, one of the great bands to come out of Los Angeles. Here, they perform "Touch Me" on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour in 1968.

Thanks a lot for the video. I loved that song. The Doors were a great group and Morrison had a great voice. Brought back a lot of memories. I also got a kick out of seeing how they actually did the number live with full instrumentation, rather than the canned and lip-synched "performances" we've become accustomed to. I feel lucky to have memories of the sixties, almost as great a decade as the eighties!
