Health Care Vote: House Democrats Just Signed Their Political Death Warrants
The U.S. House of Representatives tonight narrowly passed the Pelosi government takeover of 6% of the U.S. economy. The vote was 220-215. One Republican, Joseph Cao of Louisiana, voted for the bill; 39 Democrats voted against.
The health care bill, H.R. 3962, now goes to the United States Senate where they are expected to vote on it by the end of the year.
As of now, the Democrats in congress, with the exception of the 39 who voted against it, have signed their political death warrants.
Despite months of protests by the citizenry beginning last summer, from townhall meetings, tea parties, protest rallies and the direct lobbying efforts last Thursday, they elected to vote for it anyway.
2010 will be the beginning of the end for those radical Democrats. There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that gives the federal government the power to force people to buy health insurance or penalize them if they don't.
There will be one hell of a political bloodbath next year!
