Dollar Reaches ¥89 For First Time In 30 Months



The U.S. dollar reached 89 yen today, the first it has reached this level in 30 months.  This helps make a trip to Japan a little more enticing to American tourists.

According to Jiji Press:

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 89.04-08 yen, up from 88.27-27 yen at the same time on Thursday.

Will the dollar reach 100 yen soon?
