Shifting gears from my usual topics involving rubber monsters, here's one involving another "rubber" (or rather, latex) controversy.
Since the days of yore involving your great-great-granddaddy's buckskin condoms (I jest), condom use has been with us. Now we have another Democrat "cover-up" to contend with.
Last year, Measure B (put on the ballot by the usual liberal do-gooders) was passed by Los Angeles County voters that requires adult film (i.e., porn) actors to wear condoms when doing sex scenes.
The industry is fighting back, calling this requirement a violation of free expression and that this law is totally unnecessary. The Democrat-run county will soon be sending out "penis inspectors" to film shoots to make sure the producers are in compliance with this new law so that there's no violation of the "penal code."
My friend from Bakersfield goes deep into this subject on his blog, The Federalist, railing against this latest Big (or Nanny) Government intrusion.
