The snow from the storm of two nights ago didn't completely melt away. There was still quite a bit of it on the ground. The dusting was around four inches that night.
However, another storm came through last night and it added to what was already on the ground and the depth is around three inches. It looks like that I will probably not go down to the Flying J today (unless the snow melts sufficiently).
It is funny, I was told by several of the locals that they've had a dry winter with not much precipitation. I then move here and it seems like it has been one snowstorm after another hitting the area. It appears that Mother Nature is making up for the dry period.
I took a few pictures of the yard from the front porch a few minutes ago:
