A little while ago, I went outside to check on the food for D.K. and her kittens and noticed we received some sprinkles of rain this morning.
It looks like we're heading (fingers crossed) back into monsoon rain mode.
Today and tonight, the National Weather Service forecast is:
Today
Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Tonight
Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
