Even though Americans and other international travelers are barred from entering Japan due to the ongoing pandemic, a look at the exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and Japanese yen is in order.
Today, the current exchange rate in Tokyo has been provided by Jiji Press:
Tokyo, Jan. 14 (Jiji Press)--The dollar dropped to levels around 113.80 yen in Tokyo trading Friday, hit by risk-averse selling spurred by Tokyo stocks' sharp downturn.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 113.79-79 yen, down from 114.40-41 yen at the same time Thursday.
