Bone-Chillin' Cold!

Above, yesterday's snow. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

The snow is over. But the temperatures in Jamestown, New Mexico will be very cold.

Right now, it is 0° outside, according to the National Weather Service. From what I could see, the snow is staying. It will likely not melt today since the high is expected to go to 27°.

We got about 2-3" of snow yesterday. So that will last a while.

I will probably stay indoors today, like I did yesterday. The roads will likely be icy.

The forecast:

Overnight
Partly cloudy, with a low around 4. West wind around 5 mph.
Thursday
Sunny, with a high near 27. Wind chill values as low as -4. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the morning.
Thursday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 3. Wind chill values as low as -4. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
