Democrats Sue Russia, Wikileaks and Trump Campaign

The Looney Left Report

Well, the Democrat Party is suing the Trump campaign, Wikileaks and the Russian Federation for "conspiring to disrupt" the 2016 campaign.

According to CNBC:
The Democratic Party on Friday sued President Donald Trump's presidential campaign, the Russian government and the Wikileaks group, claiming a broad illegal conspiracy to help Trump win the 2016 election.
The multi-million-dollar lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court says that "In the Trump campaign, Russia found a willing and active partner in this effort" to mount "a brazen attack on American Democracy," which included Russian infiltration of the Democratic Party computer network.
The Trump campaign, according to the lawsuit, "gleefully welcomed Russia's help."
The suit says that "preexisting relationships with Russia and Russian oligarchs" with Trump and Trump associates "provided fertile ground for [the] Russia-Trump conspiracy."
The common purpose of the scheme, according to the Democratic National Committee, was to "bolster Trump and denigrate the Democratic Party nominee," Hillary Clinton, while boosting the candidacy of Trump, "whose policies would benefit the Kremlin."

This is all an exercise in stupidity. If anyone has more of a cause of action it would be the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee for the phony dossier and other Democrat collusions and dirty tricks.

I envision that the GOP side will counter-sue. The Democrats are opening a big can of worms!

GOP Fights "Lyin'" James Comey With Website

Wow! When my "honorary sister" sent me this, I could have fallen out of my chair! (Well, I definitely would have fallen out had I been sitting outside as there are 35+ m.p.h. winds blowing.)

The Republican Party is actually fighting back?!

From Fox News:
The Republican National Committee launched an aggressive campaign to paint fired FBI Director James Comey as a liar, just days before the airing of his first interview since he was cut loose and shortly before the release next week of his tell-all memoir.
The RNC borrowed a term, coined by then-candidate Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential primaries for “Lyin’ Ted Cruz,” and pegged it to the embattled former chief of the FBI.
The RNC’s new website is www.LyinComey.com, where the GOP plans to fact check Comey’s book and use “rapid response” to highlight any “misstatements” or “contradictions” in it, according to an RNC official.

Now, if they would only do this against the Democrats during this election season!

No Money For The RNC From Me!

Above, President Trump by Asya,

About two or three times this past month I've received solicitation calls from the Republican National Committee asking for money.

There was a time that I would have donated without even batting an eyelash. No more.

I am very angry at the establishment RINOs who are joined at the hip with Democrats in undermining President Trump. Until the RNC starts cracking a few heads on Capitol Hill and elsewhere to get these people in line behind the President, they will see no donations from me.

In this video, Judge Jeanine says it best:

Crooked Clintons: "Special Attention" For "Friends of Bill" In Haiti Relief

ABC News has posted emails showing that the Clinton Foundation gave "special attention" to donors during the Haiti earthquake disaster, possibly for government aid contracts.

According to ABC News:
In a series of candid email exchanges with top Clinton Foundation officials during the hours after the massive 2010 Haiti earthquake, a senior aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton repeatedly gave special attention to those identified by the abbreviations “FOB” (friends of Bill Clinton) or “WJC VIPs” (William Jefferson Clinton VIPs).
“Need you to flag when people are friends of WJC,” wrote Caitlin Klevorick, then a senior State Department official who was juggling incoming offers of assistance being funneled to the State Department by the Clinton Foundation. “Most I can probably ID but not all.”
Klevorick and Amitabh Desai, the director of foreign policy for the Clinton Foundation, exchanged dozens of emails, which were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by the Republican National Committee and then shared with ABC News. ABC News independently authenticated the emails.

Monica Crowley: Calling BS On The Leftist Media

Political pundit Monica Crowley applauded GOP National Chairman Reince Priebus for telling NBC (National Barack Channel) and CNN (Clinton News Network) to take a hike on hosting 2016 presidential debates if they air puff programs on Hillary Clinton.

She wrote on her blog:
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and the RNC have finally thrown down the gauntlet on media bias. They want NBC and CNN to cancel upcoming programs on Hillary Rodham Clinton and are threatening to blackball the networks from future Republican presidential debates if they fail to comply.
To that, I say: AMEN.
Reince is absolutely right to call for NBC and CNN to cancel these films. We all know, given these networks' leftist politics, that these films will be nothing more than gauzy propaganda pieces to elevate and celebrate her. The only leverage the GOP really has is to threaten to pull debates from those networks if they air this propaganda, and I say more power to him!
I agree with Crowley. We already know how biased these networks are and the time has come to call them out on their BS.

RNC Honors Paul Bannai As A "California Trailblazer"

Above, Armand with Paul Bannai in 1977 in Sacramento.

As I mentioned in this post from January, 2013 marks 40 years since the special election in the old 67th Assembly District (Hawthorne, Lawndale, Gardena, Torrance) in which Republican Paul T. Bannai was elected to fill the vacancy after the death of Larry Townsend.

I was a part of that campaign and went on to work in Bannai's district office as a field representative handling constituent problems.

Convention Center (circa 2002).  Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Fittingly, Bannai was honored with three others by the Republican National Committee last month at their Spring Meeting in Los Angeles.  A luncheon was held honoring Bannai, Dr. Tirso Del Junco, Dr. Sammy Lee and Charles House.

On Bannai, the RNC said:
Paul Bannai was the first Japanese American elected to the California State Legislature, where he served from 1973 to 1980. He is also a former Gardena City Councilmember and served as the Chief Memorial Affairs Director for the Veterans Administration’s National Cemetery System. In World War II, he served in the United State Army’s 442nd Infantry Regiment and Intelligence Service.
