Gun Confiscation Leads To The Killing Fields

Liberals refuse to learn from history. Or maybe they have. It depends upon which end of a gun barrel they're at. There is one party who'd love nothing more than to disarm Americans. That party, by the way, was the one who put Japanese-Americans into concentration camps in 1942.

History has shown that dictators began their reigns of terror by disarming the populace. That is why the Second Amendment is so vital. A disarmed population cannot fight back.

The Daily Signal outlines this sordid history from communist China to Venezuela.

They begin with:

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The Communist Party must command all the guns; that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.”

The quote was from Mao Zedong, founder of Communist China. Mao’s first act after gaining complete control of China in 1949 was to take away all guns from the population. It was a policy he began in 1935 as he took over each rural province. Anyone found with a gun post-confiscation was executed.

An estimated 65 million Chinese died as a result of Mao’s repeated, merciless attempts to create a new “socialist” China. Anyone who got in his way was done away with—by execution, imprisonment, or forced famine.

Mao killed more people than either Stalin or Hitler during World War II. And it all began after he took away the guns.

Dictators throughout much of history have disarmed their populations before they began their mass killings. Examples abound beyond Mao: Hitler took guns from the Jews in November of 1938, and Kristallnacht and the Holocaust followed; and then there was Fidel Castro in Cuba and Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, to name but a few.

Rep. Ben Ray "Bennie Lu-lu" Lujan Is Worried

The campaign between Rep. Xochitl Torres Small and Yvette Herrell may be pivotal to the political fortunes of Rep. Ben Ray "Benny Lu-lu" Lujan and Mark Ronchetti in their race for the U.S. senate seat being vacated by Sen. Tom Udall. It is the race between the meteorologist (Ronchetti) and the ex-blackjack dealer (Lujan).

Lujan has been Nancy Pelosi's "right arm" in the House. He has accomplished nothing for New Mexico.

A recent "campaign call" was reported by the Piñon Post:
In a campaign call for Rep. Ben Ray Luján’s U.S. Senate race titled “When We Vote, We Win! A Women for Ben Roundtable,” joined by Democrat Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, many topics were covered. The call was attended by many Democrat Party insiders, including State Auditor Brian Colón, former Lieutenant Governor Diane Denish, former Secretary of State Clara Padilla Andrews, multiple state representatives, candidates, and Democrat party officials.
While speaking about Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, Luján made a point to speak of her race being rated “the most competitive race in the U.S. House of Representatives,” going on to say that if Torres Small is not re-elected, it could affect his race, as well as that of other Democrats in the state. Luján claimed, “it could jeopardize many of our races here in New Mexico.” Torres Small is running against former New Mexico state Representative Yvette Herrell, who was declared the winner of the 2nd Congressional Race on election night 2018, however, absentee ballots came in swinging the election in Torres Small’s favor.

If Torres Small should lose, it is because she lied to the voters about her positions on issues in 2018 and has been a reliable vote for Nancy Pelosi.

It should be pointed out that the absentee ballots were suspicious.

Above, Xochitl Torres Small's voting record belied her 2018 campaign statements, particularly on the Second Amendment.

According to the Daily Signal:
The roughly 3,500-vote victory for Torres Small—out of about 200,000 cast in the southern New Mexico district—relied heavily on absentee ballots from Doña Ana County, the largest county in the district, including the Las Cruces area.
A new audit report obtained by The Daily Signal alleges a “concerted effort” to push for absentee votes where New Mexico voter ID laws are not enforced. It also points to potential fraud in applying for absentee ballots, and says a significant number of absentee ballots were time-stamped after the 7 p.m. deadline election night.
Shades of Tammany Hall!

Benny Lu-lu is worried, and for good reason. The New Mexico Republican Party is onto the Democrats' fraudulent tactics and will be prepared this time.

1976: When Reagan Almost Won

Above, Nancy and Ronald Reagan arrive for a meeting at the Hilton Plaza Hotel during the
1976 Republican National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

If you think this year's GOP presidential primary contest has been contentious, take a look back at the 1976 Republican National Convention. It is hard to believe that was 40 years ago.

It was my first national convention. I attended as a Ronald Reagan delegate from California at the ripe old age of 22. I also attended the next two Republican national conventions, but the 1976 one was the most exciting.

The Daily Signal has posted an article on the 1976 Republican National Convention.

They begin it with:
The magic number needed to capture the Republican presidential nomination in 1976 was 1,130 delegates, and Ronald Reagan was oh so close as the national convention prepared to convene.
After losing six straight primaries to President Gerald Ford early in the year, Reagan had come roaring back, attacking Ford for his weak foreign policy and deficit spending and winning the crucial North Carolina primary with help from Sen. Jesse Helms. Reagan achieved a political resurrection and posed the most serious challenge to an incumbent Republican president since 1912 when Theodore Roosevelt had taken on William Howard Taft.

Sharyl Attikisson To Testify At Senate Attorney General Confirmation Hearings

The Senate hearings for the confirmation of Loretta Lynch for U.S. Attorney General will be getting a lot more interesting this week.

The Daily Signal reported:
Former CBS reporter and Daily Signal senior independent contributor Sharyl Attkisson will testify at this week’s confirmation hearings for Loretta Lynch, who was nominated by President Obama to replace Eric Holder as U.S. Attorney General.
Attkisson, who was invited to speak on a panel of witnesses by the Senate Judiciary Committee led by Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, will address issues concerning freedom of the press.
Attkisson has been highly critical of the Justice Department in her investigative reporting of Operation Fast and Furious and the Benghazi terrorist attacks.
While covering these events, Attkisson alleges that the Justice Department illegally monitored her phone and computer.
Attkisson is suing the Justice Department (run by Eric Holder) for $35 million for tapping into her phone and computer.

Charlie Hebdo Cover Translated

The survivors of the terrorist attack by Jihadists on the offices of Charia Hebdo (Charlie Hebdo) will be putting out the first post-attack issue tomorrow.

I had already posted the cover of the issue, in which three million copies will be produced. But here's the translation of the cover (courtesy of the Daily Signal):

Communists At Garner and Brown Protests

Above, communists "protesting" against police. Check out the website on their signs.

Well, well. Surprise, surprise!

The Communist Party is behind many of the anti-police protests around the country. The Daily Signal has posted an article outing the slime-balls.

They wrote:
Mixed among the faces of protesters nationwide calling for justice in the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown is a group of Communists fueling a movement against police officers and calling for mass demonstrations.
The Revolutionary Communist Party USA actively organizes and participates in protests against the deaths of Garner and Brown, who were both black and were killed by police officers. Now, the group is preparing for a New Year’s Eve protest that calls for an end to police brutality through whatever means possible.
The Chicago-based group, founded in 1975 and led by chairman Bob Avakian, advocates for socialism with the “final goal of a communist world.”

Chicago, eh? Well, we-know-who is also from Chicago, don't we?
