A Visit To Graceland

Elvis Presley's (what would have been his) 75th birthday this week brings to mind my visit to Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee back in 2001.

I have relatives in Alabama and they took us on a tour of the region, which included Memphis.

Here's a few photos of that visit:

Above, the front of Graceland mansion.

Above, my mom, daughter and me across the street from Graceland on Elvis Presley Blvd.

Above, a photo is taken of each visitor before boarding the tour tram to go across the street to Graceland.

Above, visitors can tour the inside of Elvis's jet, the "Lisa Marie."

Above, the meditation garden where the graves of Elvis, his parents and grandmother are located.
