'Barefoot Gen' Exhibition At Hirosima Peace Memorial Museum

A special exhibition on the comic serial about the a-bombing of Hirosima is taking place at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.

Kyodo News reported:
An exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the start of an iconic Japanese comic serial about the 1945 Hiroshima atomic bombing, "Hadashi no Gen" (Barefoot Gen), began Friday at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in the western Japan city. 
The admission-free exhibition through Sept. 1 will showcase for the first time subsequent drafts of the popular antiwar comic, found after author Keiji Nakazawa's death last December by his wife Misayo, as well as original color drawings for the comic, among about 65 related items.
