If you happen to be a fan of Japan's super-hero, this festival should be of interest to you.
Tokyo Weekender reports:
The annual event returns to Ikebukuro for the better part of the summer, giving another chance meet the Ultraman characters and see displays from the cult TV series that pioneered the use of special effects. Although the show was aired from 1966 to 1967, it became a pop culture phenomenon in Japan, spawning dozens of sequels, spin-offs, parodies and remakes.
