Today marks 35 years since the passing of actor John Wayne from stomach cancer.
Wayne died at the UCLA Medical Center in Westwood after several months of battling the disease. His last public appearance was at the Academy Awards two months before.

Tomorrow marks 20 years since Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were savagely slain by O. J. Simpson.
Simpson was found not guilty in the criminal trial (which stands today as one big travesty of justice by a clearly stupid jury), but was found liable in the wrongful death civil case.
Simpson is currently serving a 9 to 33 year prison sentence in a Nevada state prison for robbery and kidnapping charges.
