Mowed Barking Spider Acre

Before the day heats up (around 89°) today, I got the mower out and mowed Barking Spider Acre.

Although today's temperatures are normal for the late summer, an early winter storm is expected to hit the Rockies tonight. We're at the southern end of the Rockies. We'll likely to get some rain from this.

According to the National Weather Service:
An early season winter storm is forecast to impact the Rockies beginning tonight with strong winds, record cold and heavy snow.

I did have to put the Jeep to work as the mower got stuck in very soft dirt and I needed it to pull the mower out. It was an easy task once I put the Jeep into four-wheel drive.

That only took a few minutes (thank goodness I got a heavy-duty chain at Harbor Freight last year) and I was back to mowing in short order.

Mitch Geriminsky will be parking his trailer on Barking Spider Acre tomorrow, so that is why (plus the yard needed it) I got the mower out today.
