Yes, I know I am a little over a week late with the Tokyo foreign exchange rate of the U.S. dollar and the Japanese yen. But since nobody can vacation in Japan anyway, it doesn't make much difference.
So, how is the greenback faring against the yen?
According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, July 9 (Jiji Press)--The dollar climbed past 110 yen in Tokyo on Friday, aided in part by a rise in long-term U.S. Treasury bond yields.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 110.01-01 yen, up from 109.78-79 yen at the same time Thursday.
