There has been much confusion over travel requirements imposed by the Hawaiian state government.
An article by Business Traveler USA helps to clear up some of the confusion.
They wrote:
Beginning July 8, Hawaii-bound domestic travelers who have been fully vaccinated in the US or US territories will be exempt from quarantine and testing measures that had been in place since last year.
Travelers must have received the recommended doses of the US-approved vaccines – Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson – at least 15 days prior to travel to be considered fully vaccinated (see CDC vaccination guidelines here).
To provide proof, travelers must upload their COVID-19 vaccination cards to their Hawaii Safe Travels website or app. Acceptable vaccination records include CDC vaccination cards, a Vaccine Administration Management System certificate or a military-issued DD Form 2766C.
