While I haven't decided yet what I am going to do tonight, I did decide to take a Jeep drive into Six Mile Canyon of the Cibola National Forest.
It was nice and green in Six Mile Canyon from yesterday's downpours and, along with that, the roads were muddy. When I got home, I had to hose off the mud as it was caked on the tires as well as on the wheel wells. It almost seemed like I took home about half of the canyon with me. The soil is sticky red clay.
I saw a couple of campers as I was driving along Six Mile Canyon Road.
Naturally, I took some pictures:
Happy 4th of July!
