Gov. Lujan Grisham Spent Taxpayer Money On Baby Shower

 It looks like New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is in how water...again!

REPUBLICAN PARTY OF NEW MEXICO CONDEMNS GOV. LUJAN GRISHAM FOR LYING ABOUT SPENDING TAXPAYER DOLLARS ON BABY SHOWER ITEMS   RECOVERED RECEIPTS SHOW GOVERNOR’S CONTINUED PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR AND CALLOUS ATTITUDE TOWARD SUFFERING NEW MEXICANS   Albuquerque, July 13—The Republican Party of New Mexico is outraged that Gov. Lujan Grisham spent public money to purchase baby shower decorations —and then lied about it.   A Breitbart News report revealed that the Governor denied the purchase in 2020 despite proof of physical receipts. In a video, Lujan Grisham said she never used taxpayer dollars for baby shower decorations, responding on camera to a voter who questioned the purchase.   “Maybe you should do your facts better" said Lujan Grisham.   Here's the video:   See the receipts below.   This pattern of behavior by Lujan Grisham is shameful. She cannot be trusted, and she cannot come clean with the citizens of New Mexico.   The above incident is nothing new.   The Governor continued her selfish, self-serving ways during the pandemic, while New Mexicans lost jobs, their businesses and suffered at the hands of her authoritarian rule and illogical orders. During this time, she spent thousands of taxpayer dollars on steaks, alcohol, lavish meals, dry cleaning, shoe repair and more.   Lujan Grisham had also used a taxpayer-funded state account to throw a big bash for the Democratic Governors Association in Santa Fe. Then she quietly reimbursed the funds months later, calling the mansion shindig a “campaign event.”   This is a governor who also tried to bypass the legislature to spend dollars—the constitutional role of state lawmakers.   “Gov. Lujan Grisham has repeatedly thumbed her nose at New Mexicans and the governmental system for years,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “She has no qualms about her constant immoral and unethical behavior, whether it’s duping her constituents, taking public money for personal use or stripping New Mexicans of their rights and freedoms. Lujan Grisham cannot be trusted, and she cannot serve another term as governor.”
