The campground is nearly full and each has its own shelter, barbecue and fireplace. Open fires are currently prohibited. The sites are reasonably spacious.

When we got to the park, we drove atop the earthen dam, which has a narrow one lane road. From the dam, we could see the marina where boat rentals and a restaurant are located.
It was around 91° at the campground that's situated on the San Juan River yesterday.
