Recent monsoon rains made some ruts on Barking Spider Road. Fortunately, they were not deep and will iron out in a few months.
We've had a lot of monsoon rains and even though I mowed Barking Spider Acre a week before last, the growth of grass and brush is quite noticeable and needed mowing. That's what I did this morning.
I did part of the acre (about half) and finished up after a shopping trek to Gallup. This is the first time in memory that the mower didn't kick up dust as the ground has been moisturized to near saturation.
