A Little Neighborhood Campaigning

Above, after placing the yard sign on my property. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

This afternoon, after having breakfast with "Uncle Bob" Weekes at Grandpa's Grill this morning, I spent some time in the neighborhood with Susan Eddy of the McKinley County Republican Party distributing some Gregg Hull and other GOP candidate yard signs.

After she left, I continued by delivering a couple of signs to James, my next-door neighbor. One was for Jerald, another neighbor who wasn't home. It appears that the enthusiasm over the Republican ticket is high after the debate with Gregg Hull and an empty podium where Deb Haaland was supposed to be standing.

I put my yard sign up after a couple of tries. This was due to the rocky composition of the land.

Everyone we visited with signs gladly received them. That's definitely a good sign (pardon the pun).

Susan also gave me a small stack of sample ballot cards.

Here's a sample ballot card:

It was a good thing that we stopped when we did, it started to rain.
