Video: Kamala Harris Wanted To Enter Gun Owners' Locked Homes

The woman is dangerous.

When she was district attorney in San Francisco, Kamala Harris wanted to enter the homes of gun owners to see if they are complying with gun safety laws.

A video of her comments with then-Mayor Gavin Newsom has surfaced. Of the two, Newsom, oddly enough, was the voice of reason.

It is presented by the Daily Mail.

They posted:

A newly resurfaced video of Kamala Harris shows her talking about law enforcement entering the locked homes of gun owners to make sure they are storing their weapons properly. 

Harris spoke about the issue in 2007 when she was the district attorney of San Francisco during a press conference on new gun control laws with then-Mayor of San Francisco Gavin Newsom and other city officials. 

'Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn't mean that we're not going to walk into that home and check to see if you're being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs,' Harris said.

At the time, Harris repeated it was 'time' to enact the new laws and that it was 'the right thing to do.' 

Harris voiced her threat to check on gun owners even after Newsom argued earlier in the press conference that the legislation would not allow law enforcement to knock on everyone's doors to make sure they were following the law.

'We're not going to knock on everybody's door, we're not going to break in and inspect...' Newsom said when asked how he would enforce the law.  

But Harris seemed to relish the idea of using the new law to ensure better behavior from gun owners. 

Just imagine what she would try to do if she were elected president! The video is pretty damning!

Harris To Announce Soviet-Style Price Controls On Food

As one would expect from someone coming out of the Bay Area (i.e., San Francisco) of Commiefornia would propose, Kamala Harris will be announcing Soviet-style centrally administered price controls on food today.

At least, that's according to Breitbart.

They wrote:

Soviet-style centrally administered price controls on food and grocery prices will form part of the federal economic proposals U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will unveil Friday when she finally delivers an insight into her 2024 policies.

Her address will mark the first time Harris offers a policy focused speech since she was anointed as the Democratic candidate in July and been roundly accused by critics since as being a policy-free zone, as Breitbart News reported.

The Democratic nominee is promising to institute a first-ever national ban on price gouging and price-fixing within her first 100 days in office in an effort to deflect many voters’ low marks for President Joe Biden’s handling of the economy.

Mayor Tim Keller and Co. Turning Albuquerque Into San Francisco

Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller and Company are turning Albuquerque into another San Francisco (i.e., Feceland). Well, stupid people voted for them so I suppose they are getting what they deserve. Too bad innocent people who didn’t vote for them are victimized.

Mick Rich has an opinion article at the Piñon Post on the problems the Democrats in the city are causing. It should be read multiple times by Albuquerque and New Mexico residents. Pass this on!

While they look away from the pollution their policies have created, the pollution flows to South Valley residents via the Rio Grande.

Homeless people are urinating and defecating on our sidewalks and city streets, just as this person is doing. Our firm was renovating a restaurant in downtown Albuquerque. As I was walking to the building, I witnessed a homeless person urinating on the sidewalk while APD just looked away. This is not just about decency. It is about our public health.

Besides that, it is a major quality-of-life issue.

Ronald Reagan and the American Silver Eagle

U.S. Gold Bureau posted an article on the release of the proof version of the 2023 American Silver Eagle coin on March 2. 

While at the National Money Show in Phoenix a couple of days later, I purchased one.

While the news on the release of the proof coin is now "old news", the beginning of the article caught my attention. It was about how the American Silver Eagle coins came to be.

Here's a snippet:

Silver American Eagles became the global standard of sovereign silver coins shortly after President Ronald Reagan signed the Liberty Coin Act in 1985. The Liberty Coin Act granted the U.S. Mint authority to produce both bullion and proof versions of the Silver American Eagle. In 1986, the first Silver American Eagle was minted in San Francisco, and the world has never been the same. 

The first Silver American Eagle was produced ceremonially on October 29, 1986, at the U.S. Mint's San Francisco Assay Office. Secretary of the Treasury James Baker dramatically reached for the button to turn on the press and said to the media, "I don't need a pick and shovel to start the San Francisco Silver Rush of 1986." Baker’s remark playfully referred to the San Francisco Gold Rush of 1849, which directly led to the opening of the San Francisco facility in 1854. Baker correctly predicted the coming silver rush. San Francisco Considering Slavery Reparations

1. Slavery in the United States ended over 150 years ago.
2. Nobody alive today in the U.S. was ever a slave.
3. California was never a slave state.
4. Nobody alive today in the U.S. ever owned slaves.

Yet radical leftist politicians in San Francisco want to use taxpayer money to pay "reparations" to qualified blacks for slavery. This loony idea would be a total gross misuse of taxpayer funds, to put it mildly.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is meeting Tuesday to review a proposal to dole out $5 million each to qualifying Black residents in reparations as a way to make amends for slavery.

At the board meeting, the city's African American Reparations Advisory Committee will present the controversial idea, along with dozens of other recommendations from its draft reparations plan released in December.

The other recommendations range from offering grants to buy and maintain homes to exempting Black businesses from paying taxes. But the $5 million lump-sum payment has garnered the most attention — and controversy.

The Board of Supervisors can vote to adopt all, none or some of the committee's recommendations and even change them. Tuesday's hearing was originally scheduled for last month but was postponed.

1976-S JFK Half Dollar Has 40% Silver

Some time ago, I read the following by the First Commemorative Mint:

The only coin that continued to be made in silver was the Kennedy Half Dollar which was made in 40% silver for circulation only in 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, and 1969. All later coins were made only in copper-nickel.

The 1970 JFK Half Dollar was also minted in 40% silver. Only the 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar was minted in 90% silver.

Due to the above, I was surprised to learn the other day that the 1976-S Kennedy Half Dollar, celebrating the nation's bicentennial, was also minted in 40% silver.

According to Golden Eagle Coins:

1976 was the first year, since 1971, that the US Mint was authorized to use 40% silver in their coin again. The 1976-S Silver Kennedy Half Dollar is in brilliant uncirculated condition and contains 40% silver. 

After finding this out, I decided to order one from APMEX. These coins, which only came from the San Francisco Mint, are a bit rare due to its limited mint run of 11,000,000.

CA Politician Calls For Fixing Prostitution Problem By Legalizing It

California is in a mess in many ways. Much of it is due to Democrat crime policies that have turned the once "Golden State" into a shithole.

Now, the state has a prostitution problem that is out-of-control thanks to a law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom (who else?) decriminalizing it.

Now there are calls to legalize prostitution to solve the problem. Right, that's really going to solve it.

Fox News reported:

A San Francisco County leader voiced support to legalize prostitution in the city as brazen soliciting spirals across the state after a new law took effect this year.

"What’s happening right now on Capp Street is it’s become more brazen, and bigger than we’ve ever seen it before," county Supervisor Hillary Ronen told The Los Angeles Times last week.

"Instead of repeating the same cycle that we’ve repeated for decades, it’s time to try something new."

Ronen called the situation "out of control" in comments to the San Francisco Chronicle, and pushed for San Francisco to install barriers on Capp Street in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District, after it became lined with prostitutes and pimps.

This week, she is expected to announce a resolution that will urge state lawmakers to legalize prostitution. 

"I don’t think this is going to happen tomorrow. This would be a major change in policy and direction," Ronen told The LA Times "I certainly won’t be the first person to try to urge the legalization of prostitution, and I won’t be the last."

The surge in prostitution and apparent human trafficking in California comes after a change in law took effect last month that repealed a ban on loitering with the intent to engage in prostitution. The bill's sponsor, Democratic state Sen. Scott Wiener, argued the change would protect transgender women whom he said are disproportionately targeted by police.

Democrats would really love to legalize prostitution so they can tax it. Just watch!

San Francisco Recalls District Attorney Boudin

Hell has frozen over!

In one of the most radical liberal cities in the U.S., San Francisco voters voted to oust the district attorney in a recall election by a whopping 61%. That has to be considered a landslide.

Incredible as it may seem, even liberals are getting fed up with his radical tenure.

Fox News reported:

Voters in San Francisco have chosen to recall embattled District Attorney Chesa Boudin following a recall effort centered on his handling of rising crime across the city.

San Francisco voted to recall Boudin with 61%, compared to 39% who wanted him to stay as the district attorney, according to results at the time the Associated Press called the race.

Now, it is up to Los Angeles voters to do the same with their district attorney, George Gascón, who is as bad as, if not worse, than Boudin. A recall effort against Gascón is currently in the works.

As The Federalist blog pointed out, one has to wonder about the mentality of the voters who supported Boudin.

3 San Francisco School Board Members Recalled

This'll probably end up having Bolsheviks replaced by Mensheviks in Commiefornia's San Francisco.

But, at least the voters there sent a big message.

The Epoch Times reported:

San Francisco voters on Feb. 15 overwhelmingly voted to recall three school board members, expressing their frustration with the board’s strict rules during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alison Collins, Gabriela Lopez, and Faauuga Moliga were all recalled, with preliminary results showing at least 72 percent of voters opted to oust each one.

Lopez, the board’s president, Moliga, the board’s vice president, and Collins supported harsh measures during the pandemic. They stoked anger when they didn’t move to reopen schools and spent time on matters deemed frivolous, such as renaming school buildings.  

San Francisco Mayor London Breed, a Democrat who clashed with the board over school reopening, said in a statement that voters “have delivered a clear message that the school board must focus on the essentials of delivering a well-run school system above all else.”  

Breed will pick the replacement for the three ousted members.

 One online commenter put it perfectly:

They oust three Democrats just so another Democrat can replace them with Democrats. Let’s see how this will improve the situation… Most likely not…

I Stand With In-N-Out Burger

There are two hamburger restaurant chains that are my favorites and will not hesitate to patronize each. One is Original Tommy's (famous for their chili burgers) and In-N-Out Burger.

In-N-Out Burger has reinforced my esteem by refusing to capitulate to a tyrannical government in becoming a "vaccination police" company.

From MarketWatch:

An In-N-Out restaurant in San Francisco was briefly shut down by the health department for not enforcing the city’s vaccine mandate, causing the burger chain to retort: “We refuse to become the vaccination police.”

The In-N-Out Burger at San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf — the chain’s only location in the city — was shut Oct. 14, KRON-TV first reported Tuesday. It has since reopened, but without indoor dining. San Francisco has one of the toughest vaccine mandates in the country, requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining, which went into effect Aug. 20.

In-N-Out said it posted signs at the restaurant stating the vaccine requirement, but its employees were not enforcing compliance.

Remember, a mandate is not the law of the land and I totally stand with In-N-Out Burger.

San Francisco's "Cash For Criminals"

California constantly lives up to its "Land of Fruits and Nuts" image.

The latest is an insane "pilot program" in San Francisco (the looniest city in the state) to pay people not to shoot other people. In other words, "Cash For Criminals".

The city of Richmond already has a similar program.

From Fox News:

San Francisco is rolling out a pilot program that will pay high-risk individuals to not shoot anyone as gun crimes tick up in the city. 

"These small investments can transform the lives of individuals, but they can also transform communities," Sheryl Davis, executive director of the Human Rights Commission, told Newsweek.

The Dream Keeper Fellowship will pay 10 individuals who are at high risk of being on either end of a shooting $300 each month to not be involved in such crimes. 

I bet the taxpayers there are very happy over this!

In Dirty Harry (1971) the mayor of San Francisco (John Vernon) said:

The City of San Francisco does not pay criminals not to commit crimes. Instead, we pay a police department.

When I heard about this "Cash For Criminals" program a few days ago, the above lines came immediately to mind. A lot has sure changed since then.

Protesters Hold Rally Over Pelosi's Salon Trip

People are taking notice and aren't happy.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is the latest Democrat who flaunted restrictions on "non-essential" businesses by going to have her hair done (New Mexico Gov. "Malevolent Michelle" Lujan Grisham was another when she went to shop at a jeweler was one of several others). She cried, "set-up" when she got caught (she must really think people are stupid to believe that).

Now she's on the receiving end of protests who are angered by Pelosi's trip to the salon. (As some of my friends have said, maybe she thought she was going to a saloon.)

According to Fox 8 News in San Francisco:

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Hair stylists took to the street outside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home on Thursday. 

The rally comes two days after video of Pelosi getting her hair cut inside a salon surfaced. 

California Governor Gavin Newsom lifted restrictions on hair salons serving customers indoors at the end of last month. 

But the city of San Francisco still requires such services to only be provided outside.

San Francisco's newly elected district attorney has promised not to prosecute public urination and other quality-of-life crimes that have plagued the lucrative Bay Area amid a crippling homelessness crisis affecting urban communities across California. 

In response to an American Civil Liberties Union questionnaire reported by The San Francisco Chronicle last month, Chesa Boudin said such crimes should not be prosecuted.

"We will not prosecute cases involving quality-of-life crimes," he said. "Crimes such as public camping, offering or soliciting sex, public urination, blocking a sidewalk, etc., should not and will not be prosecuted. Many of these crimes are still being prosecuted; we have a long way to go to decriminalize poverty and homelessness.”  

The son of parents who were members of the radical left-wing Weather Underground, Boudin grew up with his parents incarcerated for their roles in an armed robbery that left three men dead.

We can thank the left-wing Democrat Party and their stupid voters for turning San Francisco and other places in California into sh*tholes.

NRA Suing City and County of San Francisco

Recently, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors (i.e., Board of Lunatics) passed a resolution declaring that the National Rifle Association is a "domestic terrorist organization". By extension, that means that every member of the NRA is a "terrorist". I am a NRA member.

Now, the NRA is fighting back. They have filed a lawsuit against the city and county of San Francisco. And, they released a video, "I am not a terrorist."

SFGate reported:

The National Rifle Association is suing the city and county of San Francisco and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors for declaring it a domestic terrorist organization earlier this month through a resolution passed by the board. 

In the lawsuit, which was filed Monday in the U.S. District Court in San Francisco, the NRA claims that SF and the Board of Supervisors "adopted a new government policy: blacklist anyone linked to the NRA." They are claiming that the resolution violates the organization's first and fourteenth amendment rights. 

The NRA called the resolution "obviously unconstitutional" before comparing it moves by the state of New York and city of Los Angeles they said were similar to SF's. 

"Regrettably, this Court, too must step in to instruct elected officials that freedom of speech means you cannot silence or punish those with whom you disagree," the NRA urged before going on to mention its millions of members, some of whom they say "have risked everything to protect Americans from terrorism." 

"Therefore, the Resolution's 'terrorist' designation is a frivolous insult—but San Francisco's actions pose a non-frivolous constitutional threat," the NRA said. 

"In the face of recent, similar blacklisting schemes, financial institutions have expressed reluctance to provide bank accounts for disfavored political groups, and city contractors fear losing their livelihoods if they support or even work with the NRA."

Red Flag: San Francisco Declares NRA A Terrorist Organization

Yesterday, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh discussed the recent anti-Second Amendment actions by Walmart in banning ammunition sales and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in declaring the National Rifle Association (NRA) a "domestic terrorist organization". And, he also noted the current campaign by leftist Democrats of enacting so-called "red flag laws" state-by-state and nationwide.

He has made an interesting observation correlating these red flag laws and the actions by the San Francisco Board of Lunatics.

Limbaugh said:

So the Board of Supervisors in San Francisco has declared the NRA a domestic terrorist organization. Here you have the culmination of 30-plus years of political correctness. The endgame has always been to silence any opposition and to destroy it, to define conservatism as socially unacceptable at best, and as a crime, at worst, that is punishable as a crime. 

Now, 70% of Americans don’t believe this, but in San Francisco they do. And you know who the biggest left-wing component of the Democrat Party is now? It’s white liberals. White liberals make them up. They are the deranged Democrat base. Of all the different groups… ‘Cause you got the feminazis, you have the African-Americans (which are 90, 92% voting Democrat every year, or every presidential year). But it’s the white liberals, the plantation owners in the Democrat Party that are really responsible for taking it left, and that’s who runs San Francisco. 

Now, you say, “Well, Rush, that’s San Francisco. It isn’t any big deal.” Well, wait a minute now. What about red flag laws? You know, the red flag law is, “Hey, this is gonna give us a chance to go get guns!” Even though we didn’t need red flags laws to find out about this latest shooter. We could have stopped the guy. But nobody did, like they never do, because it would have offended somebody. “He was just sick. Nobody could be sure what he was going to do.” You know, all the usual rigmarole. 

And yet the same people that excuse the guy are promoting these red flag laws, which technically, if you get a warning — if you get a good indication that somebody’s gonna go bonkers with a gun — you can go get ’em. You go get their guns. You can get them, put ’em in jail, you can put ’em away. Something like that. Now, if you think about San Francisco and declaring the NRA as a terrorist organization, if the NRA actually ends up being declared a terrorist organization, then being an NRA member would raise a red flag in San Francisco. 

And this is one way that they could keep you from not only buying a gun in San Francisco. They may be able to take it away from you. If you end up… If the NRA becomes a terrorist group and you’re a member, then you become a terrorist, and that means they can go get your gun. Now, you think, “Rush, come on. It could never happen.” Well, look at all the other things that “could never happen” that have happened and that are happening. 

But do not discount me on this San Francisco calling the NRA a terrorist group. You put red flag laws in the mix and then you, a law-abiding citizen with a gun could end up being declared a terrorist and that would allow them to come get your gun. 

Make no mistake that the left is doing that.

San Francisco Liberals: "Felons" Become "Justice-Involved Persons"

Liberals on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors have voted to sugarcoat and rename lawbreakers. Naturally, instead of cleaning up the city streets and sidewalks of hypodermic needles and human feces, they concentrated their attention on this. No wonder the place is a sh*thole.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors has decided the best way to combat rising crime and integrate criminals back into society is to rebrand them. 

The Board, consisting exclusively of Democrats, voted to adopt a new set of “person first” language guidelines that would sugarcoat terms used to describe criminals according to the San Francisco Chronicle. 

Sure the city is suffering from one of the highest crime rates in the country, but in the mind of the politically correct left, the important thing is to soften language applying to offenders. 

As such, the new guidelines dictate that somebody formerly labeled as a ‘convicted felon’ will henceforth be referred to as a “formerly incarcerated person,” a “justice-involved” person or simply a “returning resident.”

Really, you can't make this stuff up! Boy, not a day goes by when I thank my lucky stars that I moved out of Commiefornia!

Seattle Is Dying

Emperor Norton and E Clampus Vitus

An interesting rendering (above) of Emperor Norton was posted at a E Clampus Vitus Facebook page. This got me to thinking that I should post a blog about the Emperor of the United States.

According to Wikipedia:

Joshua Abraham Norton, known as Emperor Norton, was a citizen of San Francisco, California, who proclaimed himself "Norton I, Emperor of the United States" in 1859. He later assumed the secondary title of "Protector of Mexico". 

Each year, the Clampers honor Emperor Norton on "Emperor Norton Day" at his grave in Colma, California (and, also, local watering holes). This generally is the opening event for each Clamper year.

"Catty Kamala" Harris

California Senator Kamala Harris is a known left-wing wacko who "slept her way to the top" (she had an affair with married ex-San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown). 

She's also a catty woman who tried to get some deputy district attorneys fired over a training convention she attended.

It was a relatively light-hearted situation and when a smiling older man with white hair and good command presence showed up very late and was looking in to see if we were the right group he was supposed to be with, I looked up and asked with a big grin, "The hooker convention?"  He burst into laughter and said yes, that would be it.   

Everyone else in the room laughed, except for one person - Kamala Harris, who was then D.A. [of San Francisco].   

She also didn't like my partner's comments on the realities of mental health either, and complained of both of us to our office. 

We were backed up by people WAY above Kamala's pay grade at that time. The man I had made that [hooker's convention] comment to was the head judge of L.A. Superior Courts and he found us delightful, as did everyone else there, and Kamala was up against a stone wall trying to get us in huge trouble for that training.  I had figured pretty much correctly who the man was, and knew he would know it was anything but a hooker convention.  He was a great sport and the other people kept us two hours longer than we were supposed to be there, asking questions and invited us to help change the California laws.  I recall Kamala flying out of there in a snit.   

Everyone else took it in the spirit intended.  She was such a catty bitch about how she went on the attack, that she made a lot of people very unhappy with her over that incident.

Now she wants to run for president in 2020. Jeez!
