The States Where the Most Guns Are Stolen in America

Years ago, my dad's 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air station wagon was stolen. Inside was a semi-automatic pistol.

The car was later recovered (and the thief was arrested), but the gun was missing from it. This happened in Los Angeles back in the 1970s.

According to a post by AOL, California comes in at 48th place where the most guns are stolen in America. New Mexico comes in at 11th place.

If you are wondering where your state ranks in stolen guns, the aforementioned AOL post is where to go to find out.

They begin with:

Each year, hundreds of thousands of firearms are reported stolen from homes, vehicles, and businesses across the United States. While gun theft can happen anywhere, certain states consistently report higher numbers of stolen firearms than others. These incidents represent not only financial losses for owners but also broader public safety concerns, as stolen weapons can later appear in illegal markets or be used in crimes.

Examining where firearm theft occurs most frequently can reveal patterns in crime trends, storage practices, and regional risk factors. Understanding these patterns can help inform prevention efforts and encourage safer firearm storage.

In this slideshow, History Computer looks at the states where the most guns are stolen, using federal data to rank states by the population-adjusted average number of firearms stolen annually.

"Truth Commission" Proposal For Epstein's NM Ranch

The tentacles of sex trafficking involving the late Jeffrey Epstein could possibly involve some prominent New Mexicans.

To find out whether this is the case (or not), a "truth commission" proposal is heading to the New Mexico House floor.

Above, Jeffrey Epstein. Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department mugshot.

According to the Santa Fe New Mexican:

A proposed “truth commission” to investigate possible crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein at his Santa Fe County ranch could, state lawmakers hope, make New Mexico a leader in seeking accountability in a scandal that has become one of the biggest issues in national politics.

House Joint Resolution 1 is headed to the House floor after winning unanimous approval from the House Judiciary Committee on Saturday and the House Government, Elections and Indian Affairs Committee a week ago.

Rep. Andrea Romero, D-Santa Fe, one of the sponsors of the resolution, said it proposes creating a bipartisan “fact-finding mission” aimed at “getting the story straight,” rather than investigating specific claims of sex trafficking or other crimes alleged to have occurred at Epstein’s sprawling Zorro Ranch near Stanley.

It would be interesting to see if actual crimes were committed at Zorro Ranch and if prominent New Mexico politicians were guests there. Wouldn't it be funny if Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's name is listed as a past guest?

Guns Used by America’s Most Notorious Outlaws

Above, the Billy the Kid Museum in Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Here's a little something for you crime and history buffs.

It is a collection of guns used by America's most notorious outlaws. AOL posted 15 of them.

They start with:

One of America’s best-known obsessions is guns. Even though gun crimes are horrible, there have been moments in time when famous outlaws gained massive public attention, and many of them were closely associated with a particular firearm used in their crime sprees. Let’s take a closer look at some of the most famous outlaws and the guns they used.

State Dept. Updates Bahamas Travel Advisory

Above, a shopping area in Freeport, Bahamas. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

When a friend and I went to the Bahamas on a cruise last summer, the country was under a Level 2 State Department Advisory at the time.

While there, we saw no problems or potential dangers.

The State Department has revised its advisory for the Bahamas.

According to AOL:

The U.S. government wants you to be extra careful if you're visiting the Bahamas. So much so that it updated its travel advisory for the popular destination on March 31, alerting travelers to the dangers of violent crime, beach safety, and ammunition laws across the Bahama Islands.

The Bahamas has been at a level 2 advisory warning since January 2024, and the new update does not change the level.

"What do the advisories issued by the U.S. Department of State mean?

Level 1 (Exercise Normal Precautions)

Level 2 (Exercise Increased Caution)

Level 3 (Reconsider Travel)

Level 4 (Do Not Travel)"

“Violent crime—like armed robberies, burglaries, and sexual assaults—can occur anywhere in The Bahamas. Most crime occurs in Nassau and Freeport on New Providence and Grand Bahama islands,” the travel alert states. “Stay alert in the 'Over the Hill' area in Nassau, south of Shirley Street, where gangs have killed residents.”

We visited both Freeport and Nassau during the cruise.

More GOP Women Owning Guns Thanks To Biden-Harris Policies

More Republican women are buying guns, and Biden-Harris policies may be the reason.

Women are acquiring guns as they feel unsafe with the open border, crime and the instability of the  economy.

Fox News reported:

More Republican women are becoming gun owners, a trend one Second Amendment advocate says is a "direct result of many Biden-Harris policies."

"Ultimately, we feel unsafe," Katie Pointer Baney told Fox News Digital. "When we see a very porous border, when we see rising violent crime, when there's general instability in the economy … And a firearm is one of the best tools out there in order to protect yourself and protect your family."

Baney is managing director of government affairs for Delta Defense and the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), which provides education and training for millions of gun owners.

Gun ownership rates among American adults as a whole are holding steady at 31%, according to polling data released by Gallup last week. But there has been a slight decrease in men owning guns, offset by a 5% increase in the share of women who reported owning a firearm.

Biden Accused of Abuse of Power and Other Offenses

Three House committees issued a report on the activities of His Fraudulency Joe Biden and his family. It states he committed at least two impeachable offenses.

According to the New York Post:

CHICAGO — House Republicans issued a blistering report Monday accusing President Biden of committing at least two offenses that would justify his impeachment — delivering a political black eye to Biden just hours before he speaks on the opening night of the Democratic National Convention.

Republicans launched the investigation last September after evidence surfaced that Biden, 81, repeatedly interacted with his relatives’ foreign business partners during his vice presidency — and following allegations from two IRS investigators of a far-reaching Justice Department coverup.

Biden engaged in “abuse of power” and “obstruction of justice or obstruction of Congress” by corruptly abetting and concealing a $27 million “influence-peddling racket” — which warrant proceedings that could result in his removal from office, the 291-page report by three House committees says.

“Joe Biden has exhibited conduct and taken actions that the Founders sought to guard against in drafting the impeachment provisions in the Constitution: abuse of power, foreign entanglements, corruption, and obstruction of investigations into these matters,” the report says.

“The Committees’ investigative work has revealed that the Biden family — with the full knowledge and cooperation of President Biden — has engaged in a global influence peddling racket from which they made millions of dollars.”

RPNM Responds to Gov. MLG's "Public Safety" Legislative Priorities

January 12—Today, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham held a press conference to unveil her public safety legislative priorities. During her conference, the governor outlined propositions for additional firearm bans, among other plans to give her more executive authority to remove New Mexicans' rights.

The Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman and former Representative of NM's Second Congressional District, Steve Pearce, issued the following statement:

"What the governor proposed today was another egregious attack on New Mexicans' Second Amendment rights." Pearce said.

"If the governor really cares about keeping our communities safe, she will focus on giving tougher penalties to criminals, keeping criminals behind bars while supporting law enforcement and allowing them to do their job. Republicans will be putting forth multiple bills this session that will get tough on criminals without infringing on the rights of law-abiding citizens. The governor's continued assaults on New Mexicans' constitutional rights must be stopped."

NMSSA Survey Shows Strong Opposition To Gov MLG Gun Edict

The New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) recently commissioned a survey on Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's recent unconstitutional edict suspending the 2nd Amendment in Bernalillo County and public safety measures and the results aren't exactly a surprise.

According to the Piñon Post:

A recent statewide survey commissioned by the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) has shed light on the sentiments of New Mexico voters regarding public safety measures. The data overwhelmingly suggests that most voters in the state believe that the key to ensuring safety for their families is addressing crime and incarcerating criminals rather than implementing unconstitutional gun bans.

A striking 68 percent of New Mexico voters expressed their opposition to Gov. Lujan Grisham’s order that prohibits law-abiding citizens from openly and concealed carrying firearms in Albuquerque. Moreover, 89 percent of voters firmly believe that criminals will ignore this ban.

The survey also revealed that an overwhelming 83 percent of respondents consider a “crackdown on crime,” which includes “putting criminals behind bars,” to be the most effective approach to protecting families and loved ones from harm. This perspective underscores the belief that it is the actions of criminals, rather than inanimate objects, that are primarily responsible for crime. The governor has refused to call a special session to address crime, despite the crisis ravaging New Mexico streets.

Fight RV Crime! Install A GPS Tracker

Above, a KOA Kampground in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Whether it is a motorhome or a towable RV, there are crooks out there who would love to steal it.

RVs are big investments and if yours gets stolen, there's one device that would help getting your rig back: a GPS tracker.

RV Travel has posted an article on stolen RVs and GPS trackers.

They begin it with:

The opening image is just a handful of the stolen RVs we’ve posted here on RVtravel.com in our Saturday newsletter. For every one we write about, there are probably dozens more that we don’t hear about. Suffice it to say, crooks want to steal your RV. The question is, if they do, how can you get it back? One way that can increase the odds of finding a stolen RV is by installing and using a GPS tracker. They’re inexpensive. Service fees are relatively low. And nearly any “RV handyperson” can install one in just a few minutes.

President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, has been charged with a gun felony and two tax misdemeanors.

Hunter Biden was charged with illegally possessing a handgun in 2018 along with failing to pay federal taxes in 2017 and 2018.

Missing Tennessee Woman Found Safe

The missing Tennessee woman case that had an eerie resemblance to the Gabrielle Petito case ended on a happier note.

From Fox 5 San Diego:

REDDING, Calif. (WKRN) – Police in Redding, California say they have found a Tennessee woman reported missing while she was on a cross-country trip with her boyfriend.

According to the Redding Police Department, police in Eureka, California contacted Nikki Alcaraz and confirmed she was safe.

Alcaraz was reportedly spotted in Eureka on Monday, nearly a month after she departed for a cross-country trip with her boyfriend, Tyler Stratton, and a dog to visit family in Orange County, California.

Early Tuesday morning, police responded to the area and determined Alcaraz and Stratton were “together and had been at the location.” Later in the day, someone reported seeing the vehicle Alcaraz and Stratton were believed to be traveling in. Officers found the vehicle and found both inside.

Alcaraz reportedly told Eureka Police she did not need any assistance, according to a release from the department. Stratton was taken into custody for his outstanding warrant from Tennessee for failure to appear on a theft-related offense.

Maryland Democrats: End Felony Murder Charges For Persons Under 25

The Looney Left Report

First, they appoint radical leftist judges. Then they try to defund law enforcement. Then they don't prosecute misdemeanors. They practice "catch & release" of criminals. And, they oppose capital punishment.

Despite the aforementioned, the Democrats hate being called "soft on crime". Yet they keep doing things that further perpetuates that accurate image.

The latest is from The Gateway Pundit:

Democratic lawmakers in Maryland are attempting to pass a bill to prevent criminals under 25 from being convicted of felony murder.

In the state of Maryland, “Felony murder occurs when someone is killed while a felony crime, like robbery, is being committed.’

House Bill 1180 , also called the Youth Accountability and Safety Act, would ultimately prevent anyone under 25 from being charged with felony murder.

New Mexico's Legislative Democrat Sh*t Show

Above, New Mexico Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties in green.

The 2023 New Mexico legislative session is really turning into a Democrat sh*t show. So far.

Far left Democrats are passing anti-Second Amendment bills in their controlled committees while tabling Republican-sponsored anti-crime bills without the benefit of hearing the merits or discussion. Those bills would be far more effective in battling crime. But they aren't interested in that, they are only hell-bent on letting felons get off Scott-free, while at the same time, turning responsible gun owners into felons.

From the Republican Party of New Mexico:

House Republicans put out a statement saying, "The Democrat lawmakers persistently moved to “table” (or blocked) every Republican crime bill, sometimes before any lawmaker or member of the public had a chance to digest the legislation, ask questions, or make comment on the proposed legislation.

Rep. John Block:

Dems just killed a bunch of bills in House Consumer and Public Affairs to stop the crime/fentanyl problem seemingly just because they were sponsored by a Republican. Criminals are laughing at us.

Remember, over half of New Mexico counties have declared themselves a "Sanctuary County" against Democrat sh*t show anti-Second Amendment laws.

This is a clear example that stupid people should not be allowed to vote. They are trying to turn New Mexico into a one-party state like Commiefornia.

They are flooding this session with a slew of bad bills. Go here to see how bad things are.

Lunatic voters elected these idiots.

Ann Coulter Nails Adam Schiff On Monterey Park Shooting

Rep. Adam Schiff got himself nailed by a surprising source, Ann Coulter. I have had little use for Ann Coulter for the past few years, but she hit the nail on "Pencil Neck's" head.

Chinese Counterfeit Coin Charges Credited

Above, the two counterfeit coins involved. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Good news arrived in my mailbox.

My bank completed their investigation on the counterfeit coins and they credited my credit card $55.96 for the purchase. They also credited any related fees and adjuster interest. The claim is now closed.

However, should law enforcement investigators need any assistance from me, they will receive it.

I am also having Anti-Counterfeit Educational Foundation (ACEF) investigate the Chinese counterfeiters and their flunkies in the U.S.

As I have mentioned previously, the counterfeit coins are in the custody of the McKinley County Sheriff's office.
