For tourists to Japan who want to shop 'til they drop, a new complex will be opening in Ginza next year that will house one of the largest duty-free stores in Tokyo.
According to the Asahi Shimbun:
Millions of tourists that visit Tokyo each year will be able to do their duty-free shopping at a gleaming new complex in the capital’s glitzy Ginza district from next spring.
An airport-style duty-free shop--one of the largest in Tokyo--will open at the massive Tokyu Plaza Ginza commercial complex to cater to Japan’s ever-expanding foreign tourist market.
The complex, scheduled to open on March 31, has been constructed on the site of commercial facility Mosaic Ginza Hankyu, which closed in 2012.To read more, go here.
