It's a good thing that it is 46° outside so I could jump into the Jeep and go down to the Flying J to pick up my mail. Yesterday was too cold (32°) outside to do anything.
After picking up my mail, I tinkered a bit in the garage and fired up the mower. The grasses in Barking Spider Acre are still in their winter dormancy. That'll soon end as the first day of spring will be here on March 20.
Usually, I don't do any mowing until about April. But with April around the corner, the mower needed to be started and run for a while to charge up the battery. It started just fine.
A month from now, Six Mile Canyon of the Cibola National Forest will be reopened for vehicles.
