Possible Snow Showers Tonight

Above, yesterday's snowfall before it mostly disappeared. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Looking outside this morning, I saw that we got a little dusting of snow overnight. It wasn't much, maybe a quarter inch (if even that) of it fell. It'll likely be gone by noon today.

Most of yesterday's snowfall melted away before the evening arrived.

But that may not be the end of it, the National Weather Service forecast for Jamestown, New Mexico:

 Today

Partly sunny, with a high near 41. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Tonight
Scattered snow showers before midnight, then isolated snow showers after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday
A slight chance of snow showers before noon, then a slight chance of rain showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday Night
A 20 percent chance of snow showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light in the evening.
Saturday
