It appears that Jamestown, New Mexico may be in snowy conditions over the weekend starting tonight.
The weather had been sunny with some clouds over the past few days, but windy. If we didn't have the gusty winds, the days would have been pleasant.
According to the National Weather Service:
Today
Sunny, with a high near 51. Breezy, with a southwest wind 5 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Tonight
Isolated snow showers after 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday
Snow showers likely. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. West wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Saturday Night
A 40 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph.
Sunday
A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Windy, with a west wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
